THE ABOUT LIVING JOURNEY STARTED IN 2006 WHEN OWNER AND CREATIVE DIRECTOR GARY HOGAN FOUND A DEFICIENCY IN THE WEST OF SCOTLAND'S MARKET FOR A CURATE RANGE OF INSPIRED HOMEWARE & GIFTS.

October 2006 saw the opening of the first store. The website is undergoing its most significant makeover to date, nearly 16 years later, with the introduction of more than 40 new brand names and categories, consisting of furniture, lighting, and upscale pet accessories.

Gary began his career in retail after working behind the scenes in movies and television. Given that he was elevated in a family members business, it was just an issue of time up until he made a decision to comply with in his daddy's steps and open his very own company. Gary remains to lead the company's acquiring division with an eagle eye for the newest designs and products.

The brands that About Living carries is always expanding, and we are thrilled to welcome some new brands to the family, such as Baobab Collection, Blomus, Jonathan Adler, Menu, Noble Isle, Native Union, and Ortigia Sicilia.
